Converse Men's Shoes
Back in the day I would rock the Converse
high top Chuck Taylor shoes. I loved my Chucks. I had them
in just about any color you can imagine and I would wear them
with everything from shorts to jeans to skirts. I actually
met my husband at a break dance competition and he was sporting
his own Chucks. You could say it all started with the Converse
high tops. That was, of course, a long time ago. But, as with
many things, Chucks and Converse has come full circle and
our children are wearing them. Last year we decided to get
all the men in the family Converse shoes for our reunion.
Thus began my search for Converse men's shoes.
I found that Converse shoes popping up all
over the place. Target stores even carry their own line of
Converse shoes and gear at great prices. Since I was always
partial to the high top Chucks, I wasn't even aware of all
the different types of shoes they had available. From Lo-Top
to X-Hi, there were literally hundreds of different Chucks
to choose from. That was just the beginning of my search.
Converse men's shoes are much more than just
Chucks. Although most have the same old school look, there
are many styles to choose from. Another popular style of Converse
shoes is the Jack Purcell shoes. They come in Lo-Top, Hi-Top
and Slip on. One unique feature about this style is that many
of the Jack Purcell shoes are made of leather. Converse by
John Varvatos have a distinct look in blacks and grays or
whites and silvers. The Converse basketball line has more
vivid colors that look good both on and off the court.
When shopping for the men, we had to take
into consideration age and personal style. In the end we ended
up buying them either shoes from the Skate collection or shoes
from the Running and Court collection. They still had that
old school look, but were tame enough that we knew they would
see plenty of wear. I went a step further and searched for
vintage Converse men's shoes for my husband and was able to
find a pair like he had worn when we first met. Generations
later, you can beat a pair of Converse shoes.
